CANCELLATION POLICY
and
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
All cancellations
must be submitted in writing to the appropriate Trip Coordinator (followed
by a telephone call)
and will be subject to the following charges: -
PRIOR TO 45 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE (except where policy is specified on trip flyer): There will be a $15.00 per person cancellation fee. This includes transfers of monies from one trip to another.
Lodging and Transportation cancellations may incur additional cancellation fees.
WITHIN 45
DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE (except where policy is specified on trip flyer):
The entire cost of the trip will be lost unless there is an eligible replacement
found by the member*. Eligible replacement must be of the same gender. If
there is a replacement, there is a $20.00 per person cancellation fee. If
no replacement, that portion which may be refunded to ONYX Ski and Sports
Club of Tampa Bay, Inc. will be refunded less a $20.00 per person cancellation
fee.
This includes transfers from one trip to another.
WITHIN 14 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE (except where policy is specified on trip flyer): The entire cost of the trip will be lost unless there is an eligible replacement found by the member*. If there is a replacement, is a $60.00 per person cancellation fee. If no replacement, that portion which may be refunded to ONYX Ski and Sports club of Tampa Bay, Inc. will be refunded less a $60.00 per person cancellation fee. This includes transfers from one trip to another.
WAIT LIST POLICY: When a trip is filled all extra applicants are placed on a wait list in the order their applications/monies are received. When space becomes available, applicants are notified and the balance currently due on the payment schedule must be received by ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay, Inc. within seven days. Applicants who are on the wait list and are not offered space, or who withdraw from the wait list, will be refunded their entire down payment. Requests to be removed from the wait list must be submitted in writing.
PAYMENT SCHEDULES: Persons not meeting payment schedules are subject to replacement.
PRICE INCREASES: Prices are based on the current tariffs in effect. Prices of all trips are subject to change due to unforeseen increases or decreases. Price increases are the sole responsibility of the affected club member.
RULES OF CONDUCT: In order to promote good will and relaxation at Ski Club activities, it shall be the duty of the person in charge of such activity or any member of the Executive Board to contact authorities to eject anyone from that activity whose behavior exceeds the bounds of good taste or who participates in illegal acts. Such person shall also be subject to expulsion from ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay, Inc. if deemed necessary, by the Executive Board.
It is the Club's
policy to expressly prohibit any and all illegal activities by any member
of the Club
or by any participant in Club activities
POLICY CONCERNING
NON-TRIP PARTICIPANTS SHARING ROOMS: The ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa
Bay, Inc. trips will be limited to only those persons whose applications and
payments have been received and confirmed by the Trip Coordinator. Allowing
non-trip members to share accommodations will not be permitted. This policy
has been established to protect the ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay,
Inc.’s. reputation with the hotel industry, to avoid inconveniencing
other trip participants, and to maintain the high standards with which the
ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay, Inc. Ski Club
has been associated.
RESPONSIBILITY: The ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay, Inc., and cooperating agents act only as agents and assume no responsibility or liability in connection with the service of any carriage, aircraft, motor or other conveyance which may be used wholly or in part in the performance of its duty to the passengers-. neither will they be responsible for any act, error, or omission for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity, which may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle, or through neglect or default of any company engaged in conveying the passenger: or any hotel proprietor or hotel service or any other persons engaged in carrying out the purpose for which this trip is sold. In the event it becomes necessary for any reason whatsoever to after the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay, Inc. ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay, Inc. .reserves the right to cancel or after any trip at any time. In case of cancellation, ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay, Inc. will not be liable for more than what the passenger has paid to ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay, Inc.. In case of lack of snow during the ski season, refund policies established by each lodging facility and ski area will be upheld by ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay, Inc. The refund policy that governs each trip will be dependent upon the area chosen.
*Locating
a replacement for trips will not be the responsibility of the Trip Coordinator,
Trip Committee,
or ONYX Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay, Inc.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS POLICY INVOLVES ONLY TRIPS ARRANGED BY ONYX SKI AND SPORTS CLUB OF TAMPA BAY’S TRIP COMMITTEE. NBS-SPONSORED TRIPS ARE GOVERNED BY THE NATIONAL'S RULES AND REGULATIONS.
